1. Scope of Application: These terms apply to the rental of the vacation home "Blumenrain 42." By booking and receiving a confirmation, the guest fully accepts these terms and conditions.

2. Payment and Prices The total amount is due according to the details provided during the booking process. All prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF). Payment is made via the provided payment methods (Credit Card or Twint).

3. Cancellation Policy Up to 30 days before arrival: Free cancellation. 29 to 14 days before arrival: 50% of the total amount is due. Less than 14 days before arrival or no-show: 100% of the total amount is due.

4. Liability and Damages The guest is legally responsible for any damage caused to the property or its contents during their stay. Please report any accidents or defects in the rental property immediately.

5. Tourist Tax: The mandatory cantonal tourist tax (Canton Appenzell Innerrhoden) is charged according to legal requirements. Currently it is CHF 2.50 per person per night. (Guests under 16 free)

6. House Rules: The guest agrees to abide by the house rules (specifically the non-smoking policy, no pets policy, and quiet hours).

7. Jurisdiction: The place of jurisdiction is Appenzell, Switzerland. Swiss law applies exclusively.
