We are the hosts of Ferienhaus Blumenrain and are delighted to share our little part of Appenzell with you.

We want you to feel at home from the moment you arrive and to enjoy your stay at your own pace. Whether you are travelling from abroad or from elsewhere in Switzerland, we hope Blumenrain will feel like your home during your holiday. The views of the Alpstein mountains, the proximity to the village of Appenzell and the beautiful surrounding countryside make this a special place for us as well. A Little Piece of Family History:  Our logo features the traditional Frischknecht family crest. With its three flowers, it fits beautifully with both the name of our holiday home, Blumenrain, and its location on Blumenrainstrasse. In this special way, our family history has become part of the identity of our holiday home.

Check-in: From 3:00 PM. A key box makes arrival simple and flexible.

Check-out: By 11:00 AM.

Location: The centre of Appenzell is an easy walk of approximately 15 minutes from the holiday home.

Minimum stay: 3 nights.

Appenzell Holiday Card: For stays of 3 nights or more, you receive the Appenzell Holiday Card, offering numerous complimentary services and benefits, including mountain cable cars, public transport and many other attractions throughout the Appenzellerland.

Parking: Free parking is available directly at the holiday home.
